Emergency Veterinarian

Immediate opening for an additional, full-time Emergency Veterinarian to join our team at Florida Veterinary Referral Center & 24-Hour Emergency and Critical Care, (FVRC) in Estero, Florida.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills a must!

With a focus on providing exceptional care to both our patients and their owners, FVRC is a state-of-the-art specialty referral and 24-hour emergency hospital located just minutes away from white sandy beaches in beautiful Southwest Florida.  FVRC is fully equipped to support our team of specialty and emergency doctors.  The ER Doctors schedules are on a rotation that includes day and swing shifts.  The facility includes an intensive and critical care unit, two surgical suites, digital radiology and ultrasonography, laparoscopy, and video endoscopy, on-site MRI as well as off-site CT and high field MRI. Board certified and residency trained doctors provide specialty care in the areas of Surgery, Radiology, Internal Medicine, Oncology, and Critical Care.

Surgeon

Full-time Veterinary Technician for our Oncology Service

at an Emergency and Referral Hospital located in beautiful Southwest Florida.
Are you looking for a position where you can utilize your skill set as a veterinary technician? Excited about working with state of the art technology? Then look no further, we are seeking a full-time, veterinary technician to add to our Oncology Department at Florida Veterinary Referral Center.
In this role you will:
• Become part of the Oncology Team
• Work closely with our clients and their pets
• Provide patients with exceptional patient care
• Assist veterinarians in providing complete care for pets including patient health, emergency and critical care
• Provide clients with patient care education and marketing
To be successful in this role you will need to:

• Have strong all around technical skills
Requirements:
• Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT,RVT or Equivalent preferred)
• 2 years’ experience working in an emergency or specialty care veterinary practice. Preferably with experience in Oncology
• The schedule is Tuesday – Friday, 8-6 and/or 9-7 (rotation)
• Flexibility in supporting the Emergency Team
• Holidays, On-Call and some evenings required
